Carving Pumpkins!

Carving pumpkins always makes for a lot of mess and even more fun! Greyson decorated his “Mr. Potato Head” style…perfect for a toddler. Logan and Carson were able to do theirs on their own this year…so nice! Weston helped London carve most of his.

Fun night at the pumpkin patch!

This weekend our family made our annual trip out to Agua Linda Farm for their “Fall Festival”. We were sad to learn this is the last year they will be open. We’ve made so many fun memories in the 5 years we’ve been going. Luckily, there are a few other fun pumpkin patches in the area, so we will start a new tradition next year!

^^1st stop was the pumpkin patch where each of the boys picked out the “perfect” pumpkin.

An exciting addition to our zoo…a baby elephant!

On August 20th a baby elephant was born at our zoo! Her name is Nandi and she is just about the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. She has to trot to keep up with her momma, causing her to trip over her feet a bit. Reminds me of Greyson about 6 months ago. I could have watched her for hours, but the boys were good after about 20 minutes. It will be so fun to see her grow up. We couldn’t have asked for better weather. A morning rain storm cooled the temps down and we got sprinkled on for just a few minutes. Jon, Kayla, and the kids joined us for our visit. It is always so fun to see London and Ethan together. We will be sad to see them move in a few weeks.

^^If there is anything in sight to climb on or jump off of, London will find it.

^^ I know I’m biased, BUT this kid and his smirks are the CUTEST!
