Snow Day!

We can’t say that around here very often. On Saturday we woke up to a light dusting of snow! We can count on this about once a year and the boys love it! London and Carson had so much fun making tiny snow mountains, and having a mini snow ball fight. Logan decided to sit this one out, and read his book by the fire instead. I guess a 1/2 inch of snow wasn’t enough to impress him.

Dear baby boy~

We made it! We are officially in the "safe zone.” You've been showing signs that you were coming for a few weeks now, remember that trip to the hospital last week? I guess you thought mommy and daddy needed a practice run before the big day! Since we've made it this far, you may as well wait until next week. Mommy and daddy have a hot date planned on Friday. ;)

Love, Your adoring mother

Goodbye Miss Laura

Last month we had to say goodbye to Miss Laura. She and her wonderful family have moved to Washington. Miss Laura is an amazing lady from our church that was London’s 1st preschool teacher. We feel so fortunate that London was able to be in her class for the past 6 months. In that short amount of time she taught London all of his ABC’s, how to properly hold scissors and cut along a line, and how to write his own name! Luckily another great lady in our ward is taking over the class for Laura, so London still gets to enjoy preschool with all of his friends (at a new house.) We will sure miss you and your family Miss Laura!

Miss Laura LOVES quilts, so we all chipped in for the fabric and a very talented mom from our class made this beautiful quilt for her!

I know London will soon forget Miss Laura’s preschool, so I took lots of pictures of the classroom and yard so he would always remember.

Don’t worry, we will be installing the safety enclosure ASAP. Santa was just too tired on Christmas Eve night. We hope you all had a very blessed Christmas with those you love most!

Sledding!!

On our way home from the Polar Express we stopped in Flagstaff to get some sledding in. Some friends told us about this awesome sledding park on Wing Mountain. It was so fun! They had hills of all sizes and the big runs were monitored by the staff to keep things safe. They even had a snack stand selling goodies and hot cocoa as well as bonfires you could sit around to warm up. We will definitely be going back next year. This momma wants to get her sledding on since she had to sit out this year!
