Love is in the air!

For those of you who have been to Vegas before I'm sure you've all seen the brides and their wedding party around the strip. Well in the dozen or so times I've been there I never in a million years thought I'd be one of them! Weston's brother Brett had a whirlwind wedding in Vegas this week. All of the Stewart boy's were going to be in Vegas this week for KFC meetings so Brett thought since they'd all be there anyway...may as well get married right? :) None of his fiancee's family were able to make it there since it happened rather suddenly....so my sis-in-law Alisha and I became instant bridesmaids! We both had only met Maria one time at Thanksgiving and luckily we both really like her! ;) It was a really fun few days filled w/ a bridal luncheon, shopping, a slumber party in her honeymoon suite at the Palazzo (while Brett crashed on his brother's couch at Treasure Island), getting our hair and nails done at the spa, and after the wedding the whole Stewart clan enjoyed a really nice dinner at the Capital Grille on the strip. I'm glad we were able to make it and that Alisha and I were able to be there for Maria. I think she's going to fit in just fine w/ all of us crazy Stewarts!

Me, Maria, and Alisha in the suite getting ready to head out for the big event!

We clean up rather nice don't ya think?

Awwwww....

After the wedding Brett and Maria rented a hummer stretch limo to take us around the strip. Here's the boys with Uncle Matt and their cousin Vella.

Carson's riding in style...he better not get used to this!

The kids turned the strobe lights on...notice London's stroller in the background...is that even legal? ;)

I had to get a picture of all the kids looking so cute!

All the girls! I wish I could have gotten one w/ Weston and his brothers, but he stayed behind in the limo w/ London.

On our drive back to Tucson we drive right over the Hoover Dam, so we decided to stop and do the tour. I wanted to do something educational for the kids since I pulled them out of school for the trip. I didn't really think limo rides and fancy dinners on the strip counted. ;)

It really is an amazing structure to see up close! It's 726.4 ft high and the crest length is 1244 ft!

It took 2.6 million cubic meters of concrete to make!

This is the new bridge they are building that will route the road over and away from the dam itself.

Such a gorgeous view!

Our last picture before we started our 7 hour drive back home...hey it's a lot cheaper than flying right?;)
