Back to School!

Logan and Carson are officially back in school. They both got the teachers they wanted and have their best friends in their classes. I have a feeling it’s going to be a great year for them! London had to wait another week before he got to start preschool, so we had a special “mommy lunch date” at In-N-Out so he didn’t feel left out. Afterwards I took him to Target so he could pick out a new backpack for school. So far he is absolutely loving school. Hard to believe all of my boys are so big!

Water Park Fun!

We spent our last Saturday before school started at Breakers Water Park. It was our 1st time visiting and we loved it! The big boys couldn’t get enough of the water slides and London loved the kiddy play area! I didn’t get many pictures of Logan and Carson because they were too busy running from slide to slide. Unfortunately, a monsoon storm hit while we were there so we had to leave early, but they gave us a rain check so we get to go back for FREE another time. I’m sure that will be on our to-do list in August.

4th of July

This year we were up at the cabin for the Fourth of July. It was such a beautiful setting to be reminded of how lucky we are to live in this great country. Unfortunately their was a fire on the mountain so we weren’t allowed to do any fireworks or have a campfire, but we still had a fun day! We started off the morning with a flag ceremony, then a cousin’s hike, followed by a horseshoe tournament and finally some delicious food of course!

Our Cabin

We are so fortunate that our family is able to visit the “Stewart Cabin” every summer. Weston’s granddad and family built this wonderful sanctuary from the ground up. Every year when we get there we are reminded of just how peaceful and beautiful it is. We are really able to connect as a family. I am so grateful for the many fond memories our boys’ are making that will last a lifetime!

The boys had so much fun building forts. Every year they add more to them with their cousins.

They also practiced a little target shooting with the new pellet gun Weston bought for them and enjoyed a little paintball!

I love taking family hikes. We do a LOT of these up there.

The boys’ favorite place to go is the creek. Throwing rocks never gets old!
