Splash Pad

My sister in law invited us to a really fun Splash Pad on the north side of town. We had such a great time getting wet, playing at the park, and eating a picnic lunch. It was fun to hang out with Aunt Alisha, Uncle Matt, Vella, and Elena. Plus, Grandma Sandy snuck away for the afternoon to see the boys. Of course we had to stop at Frost before heading home since it was only 10 minutes away! It was a perfect summer afternoon. We sure wish we had something like this closer to Vail. Hopefully someday! 012006007008009010011013014

Happy Father’s Day!

We sure do love our Daddy! We celebrated his special day with a little swimming, watching “OZ”, and finally a dinner of BBQ ribs, baked beans, homemade mac n’ cheese, watermelon, cornbread, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake w/ vanilla ice cream. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful husband/father for our little family!

A night at the museum

During the summer months our Desert Museum stays open late on Saturday nights, so people can enjoy all it has to offer without melting in the heat. Plus, after dark you can hunt for scorpions with your black lights. The boys loved it!

A few of my favorite pics of Greyson from the last month…

I can hardly believe he is well over 3 months already!! My sweet baby is growing like a weed and sleeping like a champ (a solid 11 hours at night.) You won’t hear a single complaint from this momma. As you can see he is well loved by our whole family.

A day on Mt. Lemmon

A few weeks ago Weston was asked to help pack up the scout camp up on Mt. Lemmon. We decided to bring the whole family and spend the day up there. The boys had fun “helping” dad and then we went on a hike and enjoyed a picnic lunch. The weather was beautiful up there. It was so nice to get out of the heat for a bit.

Zoo Field Trip!

London’s preschool class got to go on a field trip to the zoo to celebrate the end of the year! We had such a fun time and London loved getting to play with his cousin Ethan while we were there. We are looking forward to starting Miss Cassie’s class again next month!

Miss Cassies got all the kids a fun “zoo box” filled with treats, bubbles, animal shaped water bottles, and these fun sunglasses!
