Oregon Coast

We always try to squeeze in a quick trip to the coast when we visit Oregon. I never get tired of the beauty of the ocean and the boys always have a ball splashing in the frigid cold waves…even though the weather barely hit 70. We have got to make a trip to the SoCal coast soon! They wouldn’t know what to do with themselves!

Crater Lake

The day after the boys and I arrived in Oregon we hopped in the car (again), this time with my mom in tow. Our 1st stop was Crater Lake. The last time I visited there I was a kid, and I was so excited to see it again. It is one of the most gorgeous views I’ve ever seen. The water really is as blue as it shows in the pictures. I’m hoping in the next few years we can go back with Weston and do a little hiking and maybe take the boat ride out to Wizard Island. And yes my Arizona boys were so excited there was snow up there!

It’s not goodbye…it’s see ya later

One of Logan’s best friends (Isaac) is moving this summer to Texas. Logan has been friends with most of these boys since we moved here 5 years ago. It has been so fun to see these friendships grow stronger through the years. They have helped each other through tragedies (losing a parent) and cheered one another on during the good times too. These boys are something special and we are all sad to see one of them go. I know they will stay in touch and hopefully see each other again. While Isaac has been staying with us for a few days, we thought it would be fun to have a party. It was a crazy, loud 4 hours at our house tonight!
