Family Fall Fun at Agua Linda!

Yesterday we made our annual visit to the Agua Linda Farm Fall Festival. We just love this family run farm. They always have tons of fun activities for the kids (particularly for little ones.) They have delicious fresh grilled burgers and hot dogs for dinner. Plus, their hand battered onion rings are out of this world! They are famous for their pumpkin pie recipe and even served pumpkin funnel cake this year…phew! That’s a lot of food! You could say this pregnant lady left very satisfied. The highlight of the evening is always a showing of “The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown” on their outdoor movie screen. The setting is so beautiful and peaceful. The weather was even cool enough to require sweatshirts! Fall has finally arrived!

Makutu’s

Last week Weston and I had an appointment in Phoenix to get something fixed on our new car. Luckily for the boys’ Makutu’s was right across the street! Talk about a kids paradise! This HUGE indoor playground is made up of a network of tunnels, slides, and rope bridges all surrounding a giant tree in the middle. The boys ran their little hearts out and had the best time!

London’s 1st Fieldtrip!

Yesterday London’s pre-school had their 1st field trip of the year! His class visited Apple Annie’s Pumpkin Farm. Since all of the kids were still on Fall break, most of the families brought their older kids along as well. Logan and Carson had fun playing with their friends also! It was a typical HOT fall day in AZ, so we cooled off with shaved ice instead of the traditional apple cider you typically find at the pumpkin patch.

All of that hard work deserved some shaved ice and kettle corn.
