Easter Sunday

What a wonderful Easter Sunday we had! We started of the day with a glazed donut french toast breakfast, while the boys dug through their baskets to see what treats they got. We had a lovely afternoon at church and were treated to some beautiful music by the choir and stories of Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection. I love spending time this day to truly reflect on His sacrifice for us and what a miracle it is. I don’t think we can ever really comprehend His love for all of us. After church we had a quick lunch (we’ve got 2 dozen hard boiled eggs to eat) so I made egg salad sandwiches. After the 2 littles took a nap it was time for the egg hunt in the back yard. We hid about 75 eggs and the boys found them in no time flat! Weston is going to have to step up his game next year! Finally, we ended with a traditional ham dinner. I feel so blessed to be able to make these special memories with my family. I sure do love all of my boys! Happy Easter! DSC05540DSC05467DSC05468DSC05469DSC05475DSC05476DSC05479DSC05482

Easter is almost here!

We look forward to dying Easter eggs every year. This year I decided to draw some cute pictures on my eggs instead of dying them. The boys of course are all about the colors. London was able to do it all by himself this year and he was very proud! I also made these yummy Easter treats to eat before we dyed our eggs. I got the idea from a fun blog, and they turned out super cute. The boys love Peeps…Weston and I not so much. They are pretty cute though so I’m glad that they won’t go to waste. We’re looking forward to more Easter fun tomorrow!
