Halloween Carnival

Every October our neighboring elementary school hosts a Halloween Carnival. There are tons of games, food, trick or treating, jumping castles, petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, and a haunted house. The boys look forward to it and we had a great time. One of my friends is the PTA president of the school, and my hat goes off to her for planning such an awesome event for our community!

The cake walk was serious business. Just look at those yummy treats you could win!

Unfortunately we didn’t win a cake so we headed over to the cupcake walk where everyone is a winner! Crisis averted! Logan inhaled his before I could get a picture of him.

Carson’s Field Trip

Carson had his 3rd grade field trip this week to the pumpkin patch. I was so excited that I was able to go with him and spend some time just the two of us. With 4 kiddos, one on one time is few and far between. I’m glad we had this opportunity and I know he appreciated having me all to himself for once. When you have one of your kids all alone, their personality really shines when they aren’t competing with anyone else for attention. It was a great day and I hope to do things like this more often.

Soccer Stud

London had his very 1st soccer game this weekend. He played so well and even scored 2 goals! I think all of that time watching big brothers play paid off!
The best part was the grin on his face the entire time he was on the field. Go #3…love this boy!

Let’s pick pumpkins!

Our family made our annual trip out to Agua Linda Farm for their Fall Festival. I can’t say enough good things about this place! We absolutely love it and always have such a good time when we’re there. There is pumpkin picking, hayrides, jumping castle, hay bale maze, corn maze, pony rides, tire swings, all capped off with an outdoor showing of The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown on the big screen. We always get grilled burgers to eat while watching the movie, and this year they added deep fried twinkies and oreos to their menu. So delish!

Vegas

We spent our last 2 days of vacation at Weston’s parent’s home in Las Vegas. The weather was so nice…only 75! Grandad heated the pool to 95 so it was like swimming in a giant bathtub. We could barely get the boys out of the pool to eat! This was Greyson’s 1st time in a pool, and he was so spoiled he will probably never want to get in ours at home.

The last time we took the boys to the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay London wasn’t even born yet, so we decided another visit was in order. Such a cool place!
