My life as a gypsy

I just thought I would give you all an update on our move. We're still waiting to hear back on financing for the KFC's we're trying to purchase in Tucson. We never in a million years would have realized this situation would be so difficult. We're being told to hold off on making an offer on a house until things are official (in case things fall through.) Meanwhile Weston is leaving tomorrow to work in New Mexico for a few weeks while we're waiting to hear back. So all of our things are now in storage in Tucson and the boys and I are hanging out in Vegas for a while. We're probably going to head back to Oregon while Weston is in NM so I can see my family for a bit. So for the past few weeks we've been traveling machines! We flew from Minnesota to Las Vegas. Then flew from Vegas to Phoenix and drove to Tucson to look at homes. Then back to Vegas for a day before we drove to our family cabin in Utah for a reunion. Now we're back in Vegas until we leave for all that! :) Meanwhile they have year round school where we're looking to move and school started on July 20th! So depending on how long it takes to close on a house...once we can make an offer...Logan is looking at missing the first 1-2 months of 1st grade!!!! Luckily he's a smart kid and I'm sure he will have no problems catching up, but of course I'm still stressed about it!! We could really use your prayers right now. I'm confident that it will all work out in the end if we can just make it through the next month! This dang economy just has to make everything so difficult!! I'll keep you all posted!

4th of July and other fun stuff

We had a great holiday weekend! We squeezed in some time at the pool on Friday and spent all day at the lake on Saturday. It's been a tradition of sorts for us to meet several families for some swimming, tubing, and of course LOTS of eating. I'm very sad that this will be our last 4th of July at the lake. We've made some wonderful memories and they are some of my fondest of our time spent in Minnesota. Finally on Sunday we were able to have London's blessing at church. I'm so glad we were able to share that special event with our MN ward, who have really become like family to us!

Carson and Abby splashing around at the pool. Aren't they cute together? Abby's mom and I are not opposed to an arranged marriage for these two! lol

Logan before he bashed his head on the side of the pool...boys will be boys!

At the lake. My poor husband needs to see the sun more! :)

London doing what he does best!

Carson and daddy soaking up some sun.

I love this picture!

Logan climbing trees...again boys will be boys!

The boys all set to go tubing w/ Sammi and Bitsy.

After a long day at the lake the boys conked out in the truck. We, however, were not done partying quite yet! Our friends had several families over to their home for a BBQ and fireworks. Their backyard was every kids dream! They had a rope swing, rock climbing wall, trampoline, huge sand volleyball court, and the biggest sand pit you've ever seen. Needless to say my boys thought they were in heaven and had a blast getting DIRTY!!

London's Blessing

I love how London is looking up at Carson. Here is my proof that he's not ALWAYS sleeping!

Finally, a family picture together with London!
