4th of July

This year we were up at the cabin for the Fourth of July. It was such a beautiful setting to be reminded of how lucky we are to live in this great country. Unfortunately their was a fire on the mountain so we weren’t allowed to do any fireworks or have a campfire, but we still had a fun day! We started off the morning with a flag ceremony, then a cousin’s hike, followed by a horseshoe tournament and finally some delicious food of course!

My kind of summer vacation. I LOVE those pictures! Makes me miss Idaho (and Montana/Wyoming) and my family so much. Definitely looks like the perfect way to spend 4th of July!! Lucky kids to be able to have a place like that to go every summer. What memories they will have!!
