Vegas baby!

I will be the first to admit that Vegas is not what I would call a “family destination.” However, when you visit your family who live in Vegas you find ways to make it feel that way. We’ve gotten really good over the years at searching out “family friendly” entertainment…it can be done!

One of our favorite shows “The Tournament of Kings” at Excalibur. Who doesn’t love a little sword fighting, jousting with real horses, an evil wizard, and a good prince to save the day. Plus you get to eat your whole meal with your hands while you watch the show (they didn’t have utensils in mid-evil times you know.) Also, we were seated in the “Dragon” section which meant we got to cheer on the evil knight! Alas, good won out over evil in the end as it should right? Winking smile

Also at Excalibur they have the “Fun Dungeon” which is a giant arcade. We let the boys try out the laser maze and Logan was thrilled to make it to the #2 spot on the leader board for the day! Here they are with their fabulous prizes they won.

All of the kids loved seeing the BIG casinos up close. Where else can you see a castle, a pyramid, pirate ship, Eiffel Tower, and Statue of Liberty in one afternoon?

We had to visit M&M World of course!

We made a quick visit to our favorite playground right off the strip. The boys love that it has a hedge maze!

And of course we got in plenty of pool time!

We even discovered an old drive-in movie theater which the boys loved! It gave them another opportunity to hang out with some of Weston’s cousin’s kids.

Sounds like fun times. Why didn't you post about the dirty old man that invited you downtown?
