Wow that went fast…Greyson is 1!
Greyson’s official birthday isn’t until tomorrow (Saturday), but we decided to celebrate it a day early so he could have the day all to himself, and not be squeezed in between soccer games. It worked out perfectly since the boys were out of school for rodeo break. We decided a trip to the zoo would be fun and he really enjoyed it. I love that he’s older now and reacts to the animals. His favorite were the big fish in the South America aquarium, he was giggling the whole time! When we stopped for dippin’ dots the lady saw his “birthday” shirt and gave him a free one! It’s safe to say he loved it! We grabbed a quick lunch and headed home so he could get a nap. When he woke it was time for cake! Now that was hilarious. At first he wanted nothing to do with it, but after about 10 minutes he finally tried it and went to town. It was a perfect day. Happy Birthday sweet boy. You will forever be my baby!
Happy Valentines Day!
We enjoyed a special Valentine’s breakfast and the boys checked their mailboxes for treats. There is always far too much sugar consumed, but we make an exception once in a while. While at school they each were able to exchange Valentines with their friends and brought home a few more treats and prizes. I think this will be Logan’s last year doing this…middle school kids don’t do Valentines do they? I’m in unchartered territory! Later that evening we made the kids an early dinner of mac n’ cheese (their request.) After they were dropped off at soccer practice Weston and I enjoyed a slightly fancier dinner. We could almost pretend we were on a romantic date if it wasn’t for the baby crawling under the table and the 4 year old watching a show in the next room. No matter, I sure love this life of mine and all 5 of my sweet Valentines!

I love to see the temple…
Last week we had the opportunity to attend the Gilbert, AZ temple open house. This was our boys first time seeing inside a temple. It was such an amazing experience seeing the temple through their eyes. I hope they never forget the feelings of peace and joy they felt while they were there. We are so blessed that families can be together forever!

Happy New Year!
Boy am I behind! We spent our New Years Eve playing games with the boys, watching a movie and enjoying some yummy food. All 3 older boys made it to midnight, much to their delight! It was very laid back and relaxing…my kind of night!
