Carson is turning 9!

Carson’s actual birthday isn’t until April 1, but we had his party a few days early. He decided almost a year ago that he wanted to have his party at Skate Country. This is so funny, since he has only been skating once in his life! He’s a natural though and picked it right up and had a great time. He even got to be interviewed by the DJ and pick his favorite song to be played. He chose “Happy” from the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack. Who doesn’t love that song? Happy Birthday bud! We are looking forward to celebrating with you through the weekend!

Quick stop in Vegas!

During our 2nd week of Spring Break, we made a pit stop in Vegas on our way home from attending Weston’s grandma’s funeral in Utah. We were thankful for the extra time with family and were excited to visit the new Children’s Museum there. Logan and I also rode the New York, New York rollercoaster, and the boys’ spent some quality time in granddad’s HEATED pool!

Happy St. Patty’s Day!

I figured I’d better squeeze in our St. Patrick’s Day post while we’re still in the month of March! We celebrated a few days early this year since we would be traveling on March 17th. The boys enjoyed their sugary treats for breakfast and we had our traditional corned beef and cabbage for dinner. We made sure to have our green on since they are at that age where they love to find someone to pinch!
