Happy Birthday America!

We had a low key family day while we celebrated 4th of July this year. Luckily the rain held off, so the boys were able to get plenty of swimming in. Weston and I were excited to try our new ice cream maker (our anniversary present to each other) and the homemade vanilla did not disappoint! We grilled up some drumsticks and ribs, then served them with coleslaw, corn on the cob, and watermelon. After dinner we went to the FC Tucson (our local semi pro soccer team) game. Once the game was over the crowd was invited out to the field and we were treated to our own private fireworks show! Not a bad way to celebrate. We sure love our country and are so grateful we get to raise our family in the land of the FREE because of the BRAVE!
