Today we celebrate 14 years of marriage...wow! When did we get so old? ;) We escaped for the night to Scottsdale and stayed at the swanky W Hotel. What a luxury! Plus since we stayed on a Monday night there was hardly anyone there. We had the entire roof top pool to ourselves...nice! It was so great to get away for a bit and do a little shopping, see a movie, go to a nice dinner, and relax in our own little oasis for a while. It was a perfect night! Thanks go to Uncle Matt who according to the boys' was the BEST babysitter. He did let them stay up till midnight playing Wii and snack on junk food after all! YIKES!! ;) I think they're looking forward to our next night away almost as much as we are! ;)
We've made it passed the 7 year itch...twice!!
When we told the hotel staff it was our anniversay they sent up some complimentary chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. We felt kind of bad just leaving the bottle there...maybe the maids enjoyed it for us! ;)
Bathtub in the living room...kind of different...but very relaxing while watching t.v.!
The pool deck even had white sand!

Such a treat to have the place totally to ourselves!

Congratulations. Glad you had a fun time. I totally want to check out that hotel. It looks really nice. Closest thing to the beach that we are going to get around here.
That hotel we stayed at was the Graves-but this hotel looks way more fun! That sand on the pool deck's a nice touch. Happy Anniversary!
