Enjoying our last summer break weekend at Colossal Cave!

The boys' have been asking to go back to Colossal Cave ever since we took them there for a spooky candlelight tour a few Halloweens back. Since I had 2 free passes (curtesy of the 5K I did a while back) and it's literally 5 minutes from our house I had no excuse not to go! Plus, exploring a really cool cave that has a constant temperature of 70 degrees on a 100+ day always sounds like a good idea! ;)

Before we did the cave tour the boys' wanted to go on a little hike...I still can't get over just how beautiful the saguaros are! Plus since it's monsoon season everything was greener and blooming. I feel so fortunate that we can enjoy the desert beauty right in our own backyard!

This really is such a cool cave with a pretty wild history!

That does look so amazing! I'll have to add that to our list of "must see's" in the USA. Plus I bet it was nice to be in a cool cave and out of such hot weather.
