Oregon Adventure (part 4) The beach!

Every time I visit the Oregon coast I am struck by it’s beauty. In my opinion the impeccable views out way the fact that it’s generally much too cold to swim! However, the less than desirable temps didn’t bother my boys one bit! On one of the beaches we even found a small cave to explore. That’s one of the things I love most. Each of the beaches are so unique, that they are always an adventure!

I remember going to the coast over New Years one year with a friend. I think we were about 11. It seriously didn't stop us from putting swim suits on and playing in the ocean. Crazy Oregon kids - no concept of "warm" days to play in the water. We spent the rest of the day cuddled on the couch in blankets watching movies - great vacation! It's been years since I've taken my kids...like 10!! We really need to go back. We always end up going for weddings or funerals with no time for beach fun.

That looks soooo cold. That is the type of water Troy grew up in. I guess that is why he is not a cold water wimp.
